We had an opportunity to see representatives from Boeing. David Jenkins, a former graduate of South Carolina State University and also an manufacturing Engineer for Boeing. we also had Brittni Lunde, a Human Resources/College recruiter.
They were talking to us about interview techniques and how to prepare for the job you want.They explain to us on the meaning of an interview and how to be prepare before the interview.
They explain to us on the importance on why it is to a good impression on your interviewees and people that work in high places. you will never what opportunity of door will open up just by how the way you carry yourself.
David and Brittni left us with us a method which can help us and give us an extra boost when it comes to interviews.The method is called the "STAR" method
Situation- it describes you were in or the task that you needed to accomplish
Task-What goal were you working toward?
Action-Describe the action you look to address the situation with an appropriate amount of detail and keep the focus on you.
Result-Describe the outcome of your action and don't be shy about taking credit for behavior.
